Bikes: 2015 Cannondale Evo Hi mod

factvord- I just emailed boyd johnson and got a response in about 5 minutes. I think i have made my decision with the Boyd Vitesse. Here is his response to my question on why should I spend the extra money for your vitesse over your rouleur:

With the Vitesse wheelset you have the Sapim CX Ray spokes which are where the difference between the weight comes from between the Rouleur and the Vitesse. More importantly than the weight dropping is the fact that with the CX Ray spokes you have a very aerodynamic and strong spoke as well. The shape of the CX Ray (narrow ovalized) will save about 10 watts vs a double butted or larger bladed spoke at 30mph. Of course this advantage will go down if you are not riding at 30mph, but the aero spoke will still be a good advantage anytime you are riding more than 18mph. The CX Ray spokes also have a longer revolutional lifespan than any other spoke on the market so you can expect to go for a long time without braking any spokes. In fact over the past year we have only had 2 broken spokes out of any of our wheelsets.

Because of the better spokes most people choose to go with the Vitesse wheelset as the upgrade is really worth the 100 dollars in my opinion.

I'm looking for the whole kitten caboodle here. I want aero, I want durability/longevity, I want light......I think vitesse is my answer.
