My city is great for commuting

I was riding home the other day and it dawned on me that my city is incredibly bike friendly, especially in light of reading of the horrors that some people go through on their daily commute.

I rarely ever get honked at, I've never had someone yell at me (except another cyclist [I go about 500 ft the wrong way on a one way street through campus on my way home and this cyclist wasn't pleased about that]), cars rarely get within 3 feet of me (the one time I got hit it was definitely my fault), and the city has done a wonderful job of creating bike lanes and MUPs.

Just felt like I should give some GOOD news about commuting to counteract some of the bad.
