I think Contador will recover for tomorrow. It seems he bonked today. I didn't see any live coverage but it seemed like he was isolated. If he didn't eat enough that would do it. I'm not a fan of his but I like that he's vulnerable and I hope he puts up a good fight.

On the other hand I hope that Cadel doesn't crack tomorrow. I think it'll be an insanely fast Alpe, 2-3 minutes separating the favorites, one that will favor more the jumpier climbers like Contador, not a Cadel. The TT can't be as big, with maybe 1-1:30 covering the favorites. I don't know the Galibier climb off hand, if it's twisty or what, but if the favorites are afraid of it, it's where a Frank Schleck or Danielson or Basso or similar could go.

Voekler will crack into a thousand pieces on the Alpe.

The folks that I might be expected to root for, like Danielson, will try and preserve their GC. I'd be surprised if he tried to do a long term move, even if I said it above.

I hope the start is not too insanely fast for safety's sake.

Oh and I love how the intermediate sprint is after the Galibier and Telegraphe.
