Evans can let Frank gain 2 minutes without sweating too much... but he needs to worry about Andy not gaining. So if Frank is feeling frisky, it will be tough. Evans may (should) let him go, but he can't goof around... which means he may have to lead the train like he did today... which will set up Andy. If he doesn't let Frank go, then it means he will be covering attacks... which will set up Andy. This is assuming that everyone is having a "good" day tomorrow. I hope so, because it would be very interesting.
Really reminds me of 2008 when the Schlecks took turns attacking, and Sastre got away. Same climb too. Evans whined like a little girl about it afterwards. I kept thinking, just ride dammit, ride! I'm pretty sure if he'd just motored up the climb at his pace, it all would have been fine. He was in less danger that year than he is now. The Schlecks and Sastre would have gained on him a little, but not enough to matter. Judging by how Evans rode today though, I think he has learned something... sometimes it's best to forget about everyone else and TT up the mountain.
