I hear you, it sounds pretty negative here sometimes, and I'm sure it is a battle for some people.

But here in Ft. Collins riding is pretty mellow. My only yelling has also been with another cyclist and it just happened last night. I was riding without lights and so was he, but I was in the right lane, and he was in my lane also, doing the salmon.

I called out "nice ninja" because it was the first thing that came to my mind, he swerved over and skidded and and yelled back "nice light". I started laughing at that, we were both in the wrong (I was going half a mile to get some lights before going on) but yelling at someone nice lights when you are not running any yourself is just wrong twice.
