Aren't these 80-100 psi rated tires? Why are you riding them @120? Your problem isn't heat, it's over-inflation, possibly combined with bad roads. If you keep doing this you'll continue to have bad luck, even on balmy days in the seventies.

Either go to wider tires, or keep a better eye out for road hazards, or both, but don't blame the weather or tires for problems of your own creation.
