Seriously. It makes such a huge difference. And I'd think it has to make a big difference in the longevity of the parts, and probably the bike in general since once that bike starts to go down hill, there's a good chance it'll just end up in the dumpster. I'm pretty certain my all re-greased bearings will keep a bike functioning a lot longer than if I let it go to someone with dry/grinding bearings if they actually do use the bike and put some miles on it.
