They say the Zefal magnum bottles are 33 oz. Performance has them. I have some bottles that are a lot bigger than that. I just got back from a ride I'll post a picture after I get cleaned up. The ones I have are "California Innovations" I found them at a local drug store chain in Rhode Island, only in the summer.
CVS drugstores. The must be close to 40 oz per bottle. if you have 24oz x2 = 48oz. These are in the range of 40 (maybe) x2 = 80 oz. using just the two cages you have. Warning: they are difficult to hold onto until you get used to them. Forget about using them in a fast pace line.

edit post:
The middle bottle is the Zefal Magnum they claim 33 oz. The one on the left is California Innovations. I just looked at the bottom, it says 1000 ml. I believe that is one liter. They fit in a standard cage. A really soft flexible cage might be a problem. But I have used them in many types of cages. I have used them off road in an aluminum MTB cage. Just trail riding, not really blasting around. I have used them in aluminum, stainless, and Ti road cages on a road bike, a couple of times a week, for a couple of years.

Two liters two cages.
