I did this a few years back because I was bike-poor and wanted to ride within time constraints due to awful job. I see a lot of cyclists, and non-cyclists, financially pinched.
20 bucks for a bike headlight...5 bucks for a flashlight and some duct tape..... I hear ya on being financially pinched, but seriously.... and around here there are many wrong way ninjas....
