I've ALWAYS wanted to do the real thing but haven't allowed myself because it's too expensive and time consuming. Not that that's bad but if I can't do it all the time it would simply gnaw on me constantly. I'll wait 'til retirement when I can do it whenever I like.
What do I want to fly? Stemme S10-VT

Time consuming it is indeed... For every hour in the air there's nine of them driving to the airstrip, helping other guys out on the deck and wainting for your turn. And off course getting the plane out of the trailer and assembled. It's qute unnerving to see a guy tighten the ridiculously low amount of bolts that hold the whole deal together, and even more so when you have to assembfle the steering control links that may mean the difference between a nice afternoon of flying and a (not so) fiery wreck. Though due to certain circumstances (my fraternity has a plane) a flying lesson of an hour costs the same as a driving lesson for me. Which atill means I have to resort to peanut butter and noodles from time to time, but there's nothing really like it.
