I've got a couple'a pairs of Sugoi roadie shorts I like, traditional road bike shorts are very functional for riding, which is what they're designed for.

However, as my ass toughens, I'm considering just going over to Sportmart and picking up some longish cargo shorts, and forget about padding lol. This because I'm doing more and more "utility" type riding and those can be just everyday wear.
