no, it's a fact that tri bikes are harder to handle...its their geometry...yes you can be a good rider and handle a tri bike well, but you can also be a bad rider and handle a road bike horribly...it comes down to the rider and the comfort level of the group. In this case it came down to the wife...which was a total ***** move since shes not the one riding in the group...
