WAMU may not be the enemy, but consider: 1) As a PUBLIC radio station, they have an obligation to present a rebuttal from WABA or other reputable cycling advocacy group. 2) Their announcer introduces Mr. Kalb by saying, "Commentator Marvin Kalb has some thoughts about cars and bicylces -and why it's a good idea they should never meet on our already crowded local roads." It's a small point, perhaps, but the announcer should have said something like, "Commentator Marvin Kalb has some thoughts about cars and bicylces - and why, [IN HIS OPINION,] it's a good idea they should never meet on our already crowded local roads."
