My worst accident occurred when I was descending a large hill and hit a patch of sand going about +/- 30 mph. The bike slid out from under me and I had road rash on both knees, elbows and hands. Luckily, that was the extent of my injuries. That said, picking sand, gravel and twigs out of my wounds is something I wish not to repeat again.
