there are others who make primo touring bikes Bruce Gordon, and CoMotion,
in the big wheel types . 26 or 700c models..
And Bike Friday , in the easy to transport , Hide in a suitcase, small wheel bikes ..
I got a Bike Friday Pocket Llama earlier this year , and really like it..
got with my favorite drivetrain , a 14 speed Rohloff hub.
Bought the bike(work at a bike shop, wanted something nice, seven fit the ticket) I Have thier Cross frame, but custom built to my specs(considerations were taken with touring in mind, also have a nice stainless rack that fits well, but the trailer is an intreging option to me.
