Holy crap...I totally forgot about the bird I hit last week! I was riding down a side street at about 6:30am when two birds came flying across the street really low to the ground. One of them flew directly into my Aerospoke and got dragged through my fork a couple of times before falling out. I stopped to check it out and the bird was mangled.
