I loved checking out and riding your Pinarello, it's a great bike. I still don't get brifters, though, and I've figured out why: I'm old and creaky so I usually ride on top of the drops anyway, so if I want to shift I have to move my hand, period. I actually find it easier to reach for the downtube shifters than to fuss with the brake levers or brifters or whatever they are. The ONLY advantage I can see is that you could shift while pedaling downhill without having to take your hands off the brakes, but since I have never in my life had any desire to pedal down a hill I'm safe there too. Anyhow it was a fun ride, we should head out again - out in your part of town this time!
