What is wrong with wearing something you like?

Hundreds of thousands of cyclist/cycling fans buy and wear full pro team kits, that includes myself. Someone gave the example of showing up to a softball game in a Yankee uniform. While I admit the imagery of that is rather funny. I could say that right now in America there a probably thousands of people age 10-50 playing some recreational basketball wearing their favourite pro teams jersey and I don't think any one would think twice about that.

Everyone has different taste, I personally find most of the generic jersey's extremely bland and lacking in design and colour options. At least with pro-kits you get a something with a little panache.

If you are worried that people will laugh at you, you might as well quit cycling right now. Because there will always be those who will laugh. Cycling is full of ego's and people who don't mind making others feel small.

I personally can't see the universe ending if you buy that HTC kit. So go ahead and buy it already.
Thanks. You are right and I should wear what I want but I guess I am a bit insecure or something like that. It's something I need to overcome.

There is nothing feminine about wearing tight spandex shorts. LOL.
