Before people who are familiar with the bike chime in (I've only seen one or two Linus bikes around, so I can't say).. Where -are- you? There might be a good brand that's more locally available.
(edit)
I went looking for more reviews. All the reviews I saw were a variant of "Looks great, wonderful aesthetics, pretty, classic styling, looks awesome. oh and as afterthought at the bottom they ride okay."
One of the reviews had comments on it. Two red flags that might or might not be an issue:
Two comments saying "My back wheel popped an awful lot of spokes - eventually I had to get the rear wheel rebuilt."
One comment saying "In the place they make them, I see a lot of them - a lot of them are rusty." A response was "Well, they get left outside a lot, any bike you leave outside will get rusty.." My wife's steel Giant was parked outdoors, ridden through salty roads on a regular basis, left in the rain, in the snow. The only rust I saw was on the drivetrain. If it takes several years for the rust to start, that might be a good thing.. I just had a bad experience with a bike that melted like the Wicked Witch of the West whenever it rained, though, so I pay attention to mention of rust.
