Do you really want your daughter in the trailer behind your bike below the lever that most drivers can see ?
I regularly take the lane in heavy traffic when I ride by myself (click for a photo from my commute) , but I generally pull the trailer on roads where other vehicles can easily pass me. I'm not worried about getting rear-ended, but I'm not in NYC.

I noticed I made a math error in my original post: That should have been 0.29 revolutions per second or about 17 rpm.
