left out Simon Gerrans as an outsider. I believe Flickinger and JPN are the only riders from AG2R beside Gerrans to win this year. Very disappointing season. So Gerrans is one of their stars. Vatkus might have won a Lithuanina tt champs this week.


Gerrans should be on the team due to legs, but with his neo-pro status they may not risk him, and burn-out considerations, plus the politics of getting enough Frenchies on the squad. That should not be a problem though. Astarloza of AG2r grew up in Sydney too, he is going for sure.
