Agreed, I took it out yesterday for a 22 mile maiden voyage, a combination of road and gravel bike path and it performed well and was silent on the road other than tire noise. The Suntour XCT derailleurs work well with the bar end shifters. Came with a nice set of Sun presta drilled rims, the frame is double butted Reynolds tubing, Dia Compe canti's and the 32 Pasellas makes for a nice ride.
