Bikes: Too many Bicycles to list

One of the first bikes I built for myself in almost 25yrs ( which lead me here to BF ) was a Concord Pacer SS that was pushing the 40lb mark before I started, my goal was to see just how much weight I could shave off of this beast without going overboard in the cost area. The final weight is at 25lbs with the brooks saddle and original steel handle bars, that's in the same weight class as some of most sought after cro moly framed bikes that are of the same vintage. Now I had a lot of parts already but as things moved on I found that my parts weren't good enough for what I was doing so I hit ebay and picked up a few pieces like the Suntour BL components I installed. If you really like the bike (which it sounds like you do) you can take more weight off of it then one might think as every part that is on that bike can be replace with something lighter even if it's a small weight savings it all adds up in the end.

I went from this

To this
