I liked the idea of the Bell Citi (rounded back, mounting point for front and rear lights, available in bright yellow, compatible with flip-down rear-view mirror), but I never found it comfortable, and I thought it needed better ventilation. Then Bell released the:

1. Bell Muni. It has all the good features of the Bell Citi, but fits way better, has better ventilation, AND now it has a pair of red LED blinkies in the rear straps built-in. The optional flip-down rear-view mirror is a godsend; great view to the rear when down, and out of the way when flipped back up into the visor.

2. $70 for the helmet and another $12 for the mirror.

3. I'll probably replace it in 5 to 7 years with the exact same model if it is still around. Or if it saves my noodle in a crash.

My last helmet was a 25 year old Vetta Corsa, which I held on to for way too long. I really love this new one. Highly recommended.
