We do of course have to buy parts that were made overseas as even though we could fabricate almost anything there is a cost / time factor... but we do make our own hubs and maybe one day I will turn out some bottom brackets and headsets.
I used Japanese tubing, Henry James lugs, Cinelli BB, and Campy dropouts .... an international mix. I don't know where the silver came from.
