Today I:
1. Did not go to work. Met the tow truck to get my car taken to the dealership for diagnosis and repair (would not start).
2. Went to the post office. Shipped a bike part that had sold. Picked up a package that contained a vintage road frame.
3. Went to the DMV and turned in the license plate for the motorcycle I sold last week.
4. Went home to unpack the frame. Proceeded to check, clean, and install headset. Had to extend the threads on the steer tube to fit the headset. Disassembled the Centurion. Made a list of parts to buy. Found everything but brake calipers, spent some time on ebay.
5. Dealership called me right before closing to tell me the car was ready. Drove the truck to the dealership to pay and pick up the car key. Drove the car home. Biked back to the dealeship to pick up the truck. If they had called 30 minutes earlier it would have been one trip on the bike. It turns out that a couple of the "100k mile iridium" spark plugs went bad at 65k

. Four new spark plugs cost me $254 (towing, parts, labor). If it wasn't for the towing charge and the inconvenience, I would not complain.
