Hi,
I recently saw Porsche announced a new bicycle:

Of course unaffordable, but the configuration is amazing, it's pretty much the perfect commuter (Alfine 11, belt, flat bar etc.), I would only put clip pedals on it. Any other bike built like that?
I see three types of bikes great for commuting, depending on riding style:
1) utility/hauling style (flat-bar touring bikes, like Civia Hyland)
2) light/agressive style (this bike or the Brodie Once), my personal fav
3) road style (road bars, steel frame, traditional speed), not ideal for frequent stops/in-city traffic riding
Civia Bryant is between style 2/3
And then bike set-up changing depending on:
- ride length
- hilly/flat commute
- dry/wet conditions
