Its a little confusing.
A fixed hub has two sets of threads. The larger, normal direction threading nearer the spokes is the same threading as a freewheel thread, but then outside that is a smaller set of reverse threads for a lockring. So you can put a freewheel on a fixed hub or the fixed side of a flip flop hub if you wish.
