If it is a renewable resource then it is green. You can grow more trees. The problem is not cutting them down, it is cutting them faster than you can replenish them that gets us in trouble. It is also the conspicuous use of resources when you don't really "need" them; like frivolous packaging, buying a new car (and all the materials and manufacturing) because it gets 10mpg more even if you r current car hasn't even been used for 10 years, or more than one bike for that matter (eek!).

Bamboo bikes are cool but the epoxy cant be recycled so that's an issue. Back on topic -

I like the way a lot of these bikes look, reminds me that the old design aesthetic is alive and well. I just cant see paying the modern prices they want for them when you can still find great old bikes for 1/4 the cost.
