"Ghost" rider/ race yourself feature in GPS program?

I have not used the "mapmyride" app on my phone yet. I have played with it a bit and it seems pretty basic. I have not used the online console yet, but I figure it will allow me to chart and compare from that side over days, weeks, months, etc.

I am curious to know if it, or any other similar program, offers a feature comparing your current ride time to your average, or a specific day, in real time on the device while you ride? In other words, can you set the program up to allow you to race yourself and actually know where you stand in real time as compared to the other programmed objective?
Edit- over the same route, of course
