S-hook and a swivel. That way you'd also avoid needing an extra hand to attach or detach the bikes. Not much of an issue, but if you add a particularly heavy or unwieldy bike, it would be nice to have both hands available just to maneuver the bike.
It should suffice for now, not planning om getting a heavy bike anytime soon, but thanks for the suggestion.
