Thanks for the help. I knew it had to be bled, but I just wasn't sure on the order it happens in. Yes, I'm a newb to the MTB world, but it just seemed that if I pulled the hose out of the reservoir FIRST, the reservoir would then drain any fluid in it... That's what seemed counter-intuitive.

It makes more intuitive sense to me to drain the system, cut the hose (so it doesn't go everywhere), then add oil / bleed to remove air. Yes, I realize there is a vaccuum in the hose, but once it's disconnected from the reservoir, it doesn't drain out? I guess not...
