I ride mine all the time. I was just thinking today how cycling is actually much cheaper than many other sports because you basically ride for free after you buy the bike.
With golf; you've got green fees or membership dues; cars have insurance and parts that need servicing. Someone else already mentioned boats. (Break Out Another Thousand.) etc...
My other big hobby is traveling - even doing that on the cheap costs more than cycling.
