Oh, I'm not disputing that at all. I'm just saying that the few times I see people start bidding early, it ends up finishing with an astronomical bid because 2 or more guys got too excited over the course of the week. Items that sit quietly until the last day tend to end at more reasonable (for the buyer) prices.
