Hi,

I found an old Peugeot Triathlon in a shed, and have started restoring it. I am trying to figure out how old it is. It has a serial number:

P501TW
6182983 S7

It looks very similar to this one:

I am guessing that the 83, at the end of the serial number, means it was built in 1983. I checked on:

http://cyclespeugeot.com/SerialNumbers.html

but it doesn't make reference to that specific type of serial number. Any ideas? I would love to find out. It's a fantastic bike to cycle. My last bike, a Giant Rapid 3 worth €900 was stolen, so I decided to go for something that would survive in a city.
