I have gone 10 laps on a few occasions and actually wish to do more (group rides are sometimes 32-50 mi). If the Allez is that similar to the Sirrus, is there a road bike in the $800 range from a different manufacturer perhaps that would have components to get more speed or would I have to start spending significantly more?
