If you were my kid, I'd let you buy a fork, as long as it was your money. But if I found out you were planning to purposely wreck your old fork to try to trick me, wrecking other parts of your bike in the meantime, I'd take away your bike until you learned the value of money...and calling me a dick online wouldn't help matters.
