Hi everyone,
I have an araya 27x1 1/4 rim or at least that is what the marking on rim says. When I measure the width of the rim with a caliper it gives me a measurement of less than an inch on the outside and 19mm on the inside. I don't really understand what the point of the marking on the rim is. and when someone is selling a rim saying that it is a 27x1" rim is that the measured rim width or what it says on the rim itself which seems to vary greatly from the actual measurement?
Hopefully someone can clear this up for me.
