They're about 40 on amazon, would it make much more sense than getting a 20 dollar tire? I have no knowledge of bike tires yet.
I'm an avid lover for conti gatorskin's or the freedom "thickslicks", conti also makes the gp4000's which are also very nice.
But yes, nice tires do make a difference
