The first thing I did when I got the newer of the three was to swap off the dyno hub, which I considered useless weight and drag. I've left mine cushy with the big apples and thudbuster. I've got another bike for speed. The TR is my cruiser.
thanks. yes. i love my TR also. just had a long ride with it yesterday and i could tell right away what i am missing (i usually use my curve sl for everyday commute). in fact i used to have a Tikit but decided to get the TR as it has 24 speeds (need it more on my hilly rides) and sold my Tikit. now my TR is a 48 speedster as i installed a double crank (53/39T).
