Didn't that weird De Rosa track-to-road conversion fetch under $1,000 not long ago? That thing - barring the components - had better original paint than this example,
and it was Molteni orange too.
Makes me wonder whether road frames outvalue track frames when it comes down to bikes with the cache of a De Rosa.
