As soon as I find a good fork I'll be much happier. I'm trying to see the positives––now I can find a fork with front eyelets, for instance, and having a non-matching fork will make the bike less attractive to NYC thieves–-but the second day is hard when the road rash is constantly reminding me of my poor bike
