Bikeray III First Ride

I took a 23 mile ride last night using the Bikeray III headlight and I am pleased to report that the BR III worked well. The light disperses fairly quickly, but it is bright enough to light the road so that I didn't out ride my light even at 25 mile per hour. I tried it as a handlebar mount and it stayed aimed where I wanted it. The low beam is only useful for very slow riding aimed at the front of the bike, so don't expect much from that setting, but I found little use for the low beam anyway. The flash is a full brightness and will get folks attention! The power indicator light is intergral with the power button and is bright, but I did not find it to be distracting in any way. The battery pack fastened to the handlebar stem securely with the provided velcro strap. The whole unit is easily removed to put on another bike if I want. I'll report on the durability of the unit as I continue to use it.
