Showing up with $700 cash after you have talked about a pretty firm price over the phone shows you are persistent and ready to make a deal. If no one has bought it yet, the price is always negotiable -especially with someone standing there with money in hand.
If you are REALLY interested in this bike; go make a serious offer. Not over the phone.
If I agree to a price over the phone with a buyer and he shows up pulling that ****, I immediately ask him to leave. There is always somebody else willing to buy it.
