quebec city is kind of touristy, but has a lot of fun things to do for a "small town." i would definitely go if you haven't been. good restaurants, nice bars, nice european style architecture, and of course, poutine at chez ashton, tabarnak.

i second the poutine at la banquise recommended above hostie. it's not a trip to quebec without saying you tried poutine at least once tabarnak. also, super sexxe and super contact. tabarnak. calisse.
