I still think it looks janky. I know it was the reality, I just don't get why.
Guess I just don't understand why it took so long for someone to make TT-specific reverse brake levers.
Inverse brake levers were widely available on city bikes in Europe beginning in the early 1950s at least. It took several more decades for TT riders to catch on to their utility.
