I'm new to biking. I have my brother's old Giant Upland mountain bike. Since I ride mostly on roads (poorly paved though), I figured I should change out the tires to something with less tread. I went to a local bike store and got 2 26x1.95 Specialized Hemisphere tires for $25 each. I tried looking up reviews but everything that came up was about the Armadillos. Are these tires any good? Any significantly better tires for the same price or less? I was looking for 1.5" tires when I came in but the next smallest were 1.25" and more expensive.
