Hello everybody--I hope I am not breaching any etiquette, but in case anybody's dying to know What Happened: I didn't go for the Peugeot. A mechanic at our local fabulous bike co-op was tuning up and fixing a Schwinn Voyageur SP on the day I went in looking. So he finished it today! I'm so excited! I am going to try to put a picture here--I think it is the most gorgeous bike on the planet. ok, maybe I'm a wee bit biased. I want to thank you all again for your help.
