You can try stopping an episode with the Valsalva (hold breath, bear down). Or splashing your face with cold water to trigger the diver's reflex. For me, neither of these things is a sure cure.
Unless things have changed those aren't really recommended for someone in A-fib. just saying.
OP, just curious, did you ever say you were actually diagnosed with A-fib?
