In fact, perhaps we should start a thread showing "goofs" from the quality control departments. But how many of you out there would be interested in showing off those file marks on your Cinelli?

Colnago did have some dark days in the quality department. Ernesto even admitted it basically in an interview. I will say that after 1983 the dark days of 1975 were being replaced by dome decent frames. Some of it was thanks to second generation investment casting. I test rode many and they just never "spoke" to me, excuse the pun. If I were to look for one it would be with the "playing card" graphics from about '70-'71. In that intense blue or lime green. And one might as well look for the full tilt pantographing.
